This sounds really good Kwon. I didn’t know you wrote stories like this!

Who is this fella? What is his background?

A) AI is just a hype machine for the most part, a decade from now AI will be producing the same gimmicky garbage that is being produced today.

B) But yes we're about to see a total revolution in film making. Studios held the artform hostage, and the unions refused to play ball with conservatives. The fact Sound of Freedom got made was a miracle.

AI isn't gonna be making films for us, but it does free creative types from needing entire studios to produce a film.

You no longer need to hire extras as you can use deepfake face and voice technology, to turn one very talented actor into 15-20 characters in a film, radically reducing the expenses of hiring extras and additional cast.

Obviously CGI has been dirt cheap for forever.

And now 1 writer using chatgpt, can do a years work in a weekend.

We're not going into a future where computers make movies, it's gonna be far more like the pro tools revolution. Where one guy can make a rock album in his basement for $5,000 in contrast to the million dollars expenses of writing and recording a high quality album in the 1970s.

A talentless hack with pro tools isn't gonna be making a rock album in his basement. But a talented musician no longer needs a studio's backing to make great art.

I tried writing a book with chat gpt, I got 20 pages in and I had to stop, I was just writing way too quickly for my own good. I scribble out stories ideas on a notepad to help myself get to sleep at night, I'm not interested in actually writing a book, but I got curious.

My first few attempts were disappointing it's basically a glorified search engine. It would just steal ideas from other properties and create really bland unoriginal stories.

But I started inputting ideas I have from my notepads/scrap books, and it was like wow. I could translate my stories to page in minutes, I'm sure if I had nothing better to do I could have written 150 page book in a weekend.

Most people who can write stories don't have trouble coming up with original ideas and plot lines. The hard part is just literally typing out 150 pages of text. Most writers struggle with getting bored with an idea, and it's why most of the greatest stories ever written don't actually get written.
