Looking good bro!

Welcome to the PDI!

Are you competing in the NOC on 9-16-06?

Thanks guys.  No, not going to do the NOC cause I am still healing from a bicep injury plus I still can't even imagine being on the same stage as Vince Taylor.  One of the smaller PDI shows next season.  Few more weeks and I am back to heavier weights with the arm.  Doing well.

Here's a back double bi and M.M. from last fall (wasn't in contest shape of course).

Last one.  Have to work on not loosing muscle while dieting.  Always get nervous I'm not cut enough and dieted/cardio too hard.  I'd be heavier if I get onstage again.

Good catch!

I used to fight and now coach (part-time) shootfighting.  Its submission wrestling + kickboxing.  UFC style fighting.  Our fight team is named "strong style".  Many of the guys who are pros or coaches at our gym have this tatoo.   Thats the only tatoo I have and the only one I will get.  Too many tatoos can be a negative on stage.

Hi guys. Just wanted to pass a bit of info.

I have been granted PRO status by Wayne Demilia of Pro Division Inc. because of my NABBA 2005 nationals overall win.  This is not some huge announcement or signing as there will be much bigger named people competing.

Just wanted to encourage you all to check out competing in the NABBA, especially the jr. nationals and nationals this fall. By winning the NABBA overall nationals, you can petition to become a Pro in the PDI. You can also compete in other organizations.

Hopefully PDI will be solid and a good second Pro division for BBing and the athletes.  Out of all the BBers out there, there are so few actual pros in our sport.  PDI are also putting more emphasis on aesthetics than the current IFBB so this should help move BBing back in the right direction. Similar to NABBA which rewards physiques which are muscular and aesthetic.  Big guts and synthol need not apply.

Check out www.NABBA.com

Take care,

-John

This can only be good for pro bodybuilding and bodybuilding in general. The sport is in a shambles and this is a big step in the right direction.

I was wondering about the Bob thing.  I wonder if BB.com is going to punish Bob by having him work the booths at PDI shows.

Why would it be "punishing me"...It's part of my job.

I already stated...BB.com is NOT sponsoring the PDI.

Isn't BBing.com sponsoring some of the events at the NOC?
