I heard about him being dropped by the Australian boxer whether its true or not. Cut looks pretty bad, would open easily in 2 weeks. He should try pulling out more from his wife

Fury is all over the place.  After beating Klitschko he disappeared.  Hit rock bottom. Substance abuse and mental health. His comeback and trilogy with Wilder was good stuff but had him poised for another fall from grace. The way he was acting in the lead up to the Ngannou fight (actually the entire debacle from taking the fight all the way to the last round) had me thinking he was off the wagon.

On the other hand it just may be harder and harder for him to get into great shape. He's a 300 lb pear.

A friend of mine was a top ten heavy weight a decade ago.

My friend still has his intelligence, but those hits slow down their mind a bit.

Stallone with the lisp was cast well for that reason as some boxers actually sound like that a bit.

Thought about it, and it's too dangerous an injury to just take. I do think they'll milk it for all the time they can so Fury can get his head straight. This last month they've just been savaging him in the UK press, guys seeing his sparing sessions saying he looked unfocused and lazy. Ex-sparing partners saying the haven't seen him like this before, etc....

Fury wanted out of this bout, im a big fan, but Francis took his confidence and he was always going struggle against Usyk. styles make fights it was a bad match up for him, Usyk would beat him IMO.

David Haye sat out 3 years with a cut to avoid a fight.

Fury is doing the same thing Spence and Bivol(now) did to Crawford and Beterbiev, put them on the shelf and try and age them out.  It didn't work for Spence. We will see if it works for Bivol.

Usyk has another tough mandatory now who will attack his body just like DDD.

Fury will access after that fight should he take the Usyk fight.

Usyk is no better; he has scammed his way out of 2-3 defeats on his pro record.

Nobody cast Stallone. In fact when Stallone was trying to sell Rocky to producers he was turned down because none of them wanted him to star. It’s a pretty awesome story. If you’ve not heard Sly talk about it you should check it out.
