They also say cap bodyfat @ 12-13% and Hatfield says can it @ 10%
I say cap it @ 7% which is what I do
Since I saw it the other day, here's another data point from 28ish years ago -

The whole point of my (upcoming and very late and don't ask-me-when)
BODYOPUS diet book is to show how to bring normal-fat people to an optimal
fat percentage. A diet book for people who are not fat. My guidelines
for a starting off point is: Men up to 15%. Women about 20%. My ideal new
fat % from working with athletes, models, etc., etc. is about 6% for men
and between 10% to 12% for women. These percentages are the lowest year
around fat % that maintain good health. It's best to keep bodyfat low
especially when young as it keeps the skin tight. Losing the extra fat in
middle age doesn't address the too-loose skin, especially in women. As to
Cory Everson, well, even though Cory has gone to college, I have no idea
what she studied, because she certainly comes across as an airhead and it
appears to be not an act, but genuine. She always was a talking puppet
for her husband Jeff, who is no towering intellect either.
