Yes, many users find it very lucrative to cut out their drug dealer and to become the drug dealer. Their drug physique is great advertisement for their product.  Around 1980 there was a guy in the gym where I trained that was known as the guy. Sold all the drugs out of the trunk of his brand new car at the gym and he trained at various gyms in the area to maximize sales. He had no apparent job. He looked pretty good but never a top tier type guy. He was around 45 and had the 22 year old hot girlfriend. He was entertaining in the gym because he loved opera and would sing loud in his booming voice. Many years later I was at the beach and who do I see in the water? He recognized me and started breaking out into an opera song. Maybe I was a prick but at this stage of my life I didn't want to be associated with him and ignored him like I didn't know him.

In an unrelated story one of his customers was pretty successful winning small contests in the area trying to make it big. He got into fight with live in girlfriend and stabbed her to death with a steak knife.  Not saying it was the drugs but I'm sure being very aggressive and agitated didn't help with his decision to snap.
