Yup.  My older brother has his autograph.  Somewhere.  He can't find it.  He said he asked Rose for it one time and was rudely told "No!"  A few years later he asked again and said it was like Rose was a different man, very nice and was happy to sign an autograph.   

I never much cared about Baseball or any sports  after the first pro baseball strike.

Pete Rose always seemed like a total asshole

Everyone I know who met him said he was but he was still the best hitter ever. Played 6 positions in the field which is unheard of and was an all state running back in high school. Overall great athlete. RIP
