I can't stand religious extremists of any stripe; in fact, I'd quite like to wipe them all of the face of the Earth. That being said, I do think Getbiggers have a very skewed perception of things thanks to state media and propagandistic 'think tanks.'I'm in Jordan at the moment, and I've been almost everywhere in the region. I have rarely ever encountered one of these freaks that we see constantly posted on here. Some of the deepest and most respectful conversations I've ever had on religion and epistemology have been with Muslims in very conservative countries, and I'm an unapologetic atheist. Right now, everyone is attending a Christmas fair to raise money for orphaned children. Western Christmas music is blasting, and all the parents are taking their kids to get pictures next to the displays. This is how the vast majority of the populations act in most of these places.
