Great movie. Wife and I watched it again for the 3rd or 4th time last week. Pretty sure the award was for helping boost military recruitment. Hate his Scientology but the dude puts extra effort into his acting and doing crazy stunts at his age is no joke.

Fuck 95% of celebs, but I’m unashamed to say that I’m a fan of actors like Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson and Mel Gibson. Hell, even throw Carl Weathers in that mix. Very underrated actor. When I watch their movies, their roles are intense and believable and that’s all a Getbigger like me can ask for.

I prefer Charles Bronson but Tom Cruise is definitely a professional & in great shape.

There is a good reason for that longevity. Cruise has been on top for 40 years.

I know Age and Drugs (and Boxing) play a part in it

But of Rourke could have kept his weathered look from "The Wrestler" im sure he could have gotten more roles and not having to look like he does today

Well, something happened with his face and body not long after Wrestler

Once he got to age 60 it went Big Dan Hill very quickly

He still had a decent look at 58-59 (iron Man 2, Wrestler, Immortals etc)

Something happened in 2015 when he broke up with that Ukrainian model methinks

I liked Barfly also but when he made a toast drinking and said "To all my friends",he sounded like Snagglepuss from the cartoons.

Damn good actor though,and his face looked a helluva` lot better being a boxer than it does now.......I heard Madame Tussauds was looking to put him on exhibit.
