Yes he was indeed a boyhood hero for many young boys growing up in the UK.
I remember as a kid going to the local swimming Baths where they had a Multi Gym that anyone could use..was a good one that i later saw the army & police used.
Workout on the multi gym then in the pool...Happy Days  ;D

Had dinner w/ Prowse around a decade back in NJ at a banquet. (We went out the night before).
Lots of great stories and very nice man..

yes he always came across as an old school humble guy. Never met him but if you have any good stories to tell... :)

yes i think we can say with all certainty he was..was on TV advert for kids.

Loved A Clockwork Orange. My favorite movie and had no idea he was Darth Vader. I can definitely see why they changed the voice to James Earl Jones. Now they are both gone.
