I've lived in at least five states and visited more than a dozen - even drove across the country. 

The stretch of beaches in the OC is amazing.  Great ones in San Diego Co, too.  Venice and Santa Monica were great 30 years ago.  Bumped into Robby Robinson, Aaron Baker, and Leroy Colbert.
