Trump goes back on earlier promises, announces $1trillion military budget

Largest military budget of all time, $200 billion more than last years.  So much for that whole DOGE thing, I guess.

Dunno what happened to all that talk about cutting the military’s budget.  Only 6-7 weeks ago they were planning 8% annual cuts in defense spending over the next five years:

Just more disappointment and broken promises from Trump.  Sad!
