I don’t think people understand the magnitude of what just happened.
POTUS is sending US Military troops to “war ravaged” Portland, Antifa’s main hub, to protect ICE facilities from endless attacks from Antifa.
US MIL in US cities is essentially the Insurrection Act. As for whether or not that’s the actual legal avenue Trump utilizes to get troops to Dem-run cities like Portland, the end result is that of the Insurrection Act, whether it’s been invoked or not. Antifa is a violent insurrection/terrorist operation, and Trump is sending US troops authorized with “full force”.
This is the beginning of the dismantling of Antifa and the Left-wing terrorist network nationwide. Trump is eliminating the Deep State’s brownshirts.

I understand what happened. I get the magnitude of it. But there's a bigger picture here.
Bill Clinton expanded the DOJ's authority way back in the early 90's. The DOJ used to only go after organized crime. But Clinton expanded the scope of their duty to investigate civil rights violations. Ever since the DOJ has used a handful of bad incidents to go after one major city police department to the next and absolutely debilitate them. The DOJ makes it impossible for them to do their job. Burry them in report writing, auditable forms, expand complaint investigations, expand Use of Force investigations. They use settlement agreements and consent decrees- SIGNED BY FEDERAL JUDGES- to take over the decision making of major city police departments and when the towns go to absolute shit, and this is verifiable documented fact that every agency they have taken over the crime has skyrocketed, officer injuries go up, responses times to 911 emergencies increases from minutes to hours, officers leave and get jobs at other agencies. I could go into extreme depth with this one but I'll leave it at this- when the town turns into a crime infested sithole, the DOJ doesn't take the blame, they keep quiet as a mouse. Then the federal government swamps these big cities with illegal immigrants, and when protests erupt the police department doesn't do shit because the DOJ is watching over them and indulges the rioters. FFS, the antifa rioters in 2020 were able to secure RESTRAINING ORDERS against the Portland Police- signed by..... A FEDERAL JUDGE.
Now Portlandis fucked. 15 years ago Portlandwas a beautifulcity, it was filled with some morons but by and large it was beautifuland clean and most of all safe. It was the safest city of any of the top 20 cities with the largest populations, it waa actuallyhard to believe how safe it was.
Well between the DOJ and Federal Judges completely fucking their departmen, Federal government flooding them with illegal immigrants, allowing riots, and everything else the feds have done, now the FEDs, the same governmentthat completely dismantled the police department, and prevened them from doing their jobs, are sending federal troops to clean it up? Yeah. Ok.
Well Trump had the opportunity to pull the DOJ from these cities and allow their cops to do their jobs. Now federal troops are on their way to town? To do what exactly? Answer 911 calls? To take accident reports? To chase down dope dealers and find stolen cars? I doubt it. You have a problem: Portland is a sithole. Your solution: send in the national guard, doesn't solve the problem.
Ive read a handful of books in my life, at least 1 or 2, and federal troops taking over US cities is something to be very wary of. And from my viewpoint, it seems like a well orchestrated takeover.
