Just got back from the Olympia expo!

Had a blast.  My first one was in 1999. It was great to be back in Vegas and seeing the old champions and new ones. One thing I noticed was that these guys lost height, who used to be taller than me or taller in general. Milos is about 5'8 now. I'm very serious. Kai, 5'7, Palumbo 5'7. Shawn Ray stayed the same height. Sergio Oliva Jr. HUGE, very, very impressive in person. Hunter Labrada, HUGE, but shorter than I thought. Blessing = huge but watery. Ronnie was in good spirits as always. I saw the 212 prejudging and Keone was insanely huge, like a little Ronnie. Clarida was at his best IMO, and if Keone doesn't make improvements for the night show, he'll lose to Clarida. Clarida is in better conditioning. I saw Justin Compton, still big. Bumstead's line was insanely long, but he's definitely down in size. I saw Hafthor (sp?) HUGE. Brian Shaw looked to be down in size. There are others I'm sure I'll remember late.  Expo wasn't as full as I thought it'd be but it was still fun nonetheless.

That and gravity/getting older. You 23 discs I believe and if each shrink by a few millimeters over time you lose inches. My L5-S1 is at 3 mm and should be 15. L4-L5 is not as bad as that but is a bit squished.

Nothing, they all lie about their height and its only when you  see them they get caught out

People,  almost all people, but especially white people- because of osteoporosis- lose height as they age. Im sure compression of the spine is a contributing factor in people who trained in strength sports.

I stepped on a scale which measured height as well electronically and it said I've lost over an inch since last time I measured, maybe 6-7 years ago

Oddly I've grown about 1/2 inch in middle age! Measured 6' even for the first time at the doctor last 2-3 times. And barefoot not like sommerfield and his padded socks!
