Tre: Noticed Marjo at the bottom of the page
« on: June 02, 2006, 02:09:37 PM »
Noticed Marjo at the bottom of the page.  There's an uncrowned MsO if there ever was one.

Finally!!

It's good to know at least one other person noticed the two hot WOMEN on the cover...Marjo Selin and Tonya Knight.

They could've sold 10,000 copies of the video from that workout.

Thank You!

What happen to Carla Temple, Erica Mess, Penny Price, Masha(?) Santos  and some the beauties from the mid-80s.  I know Langer got married in Germany, Rachel does B movies, and Portuguese is back with VanDame.  Carla Dunlap? Clair Fur? Kay Baxter passed away?  It was a great time for women's bbing.

Here's an old one:  Do you remember the USA show Regis Philbin had?  I first saw Dunlap, Cris Alexander and Gladys on a episode with Brian Moss.  That got me hooked on the woman's side!  He had Donna Olivera also. I guess she is still in nursing.
Oh...Monica!

Damn, you go to the way-way back! ;)  You certainly called out the beauties.  They didn't have the mass way back when, but the top women were all so gorgeous.

I don't recall that TV show you mentioned, but I got hooked on the women when I was just a little kid watching mixed pairs on NBC - Shelly Gruwell and Tony Pearson were my faves back then.

I don't know that we'll ever see a return to the good ol' days, but having Tara Scotti as the next Ms. Olympia sure would be a nice start.   ;D

(note: I still love the big women, too, but think there should be separate stages for each)

Pearson and Bergmann in Mixed Pairs were out of this world.
