Yes it does. A lot of pros got big backs, and they dont train like him.

Everybody. How many people trained as hard as Dorian? Ronnie? That's one.

There's no evidence whatsoever that you need to train like Dorian or Ronnie to have a champion physique.

Well i do. And i've seen yates arms throughout his career, from a bodyweight and age i'm at now to his sorry state currently.

I guess i'll live safe in the knowledge of what i know and you don't.  ;)

You're right pleanty of guys can build champion type physiques without the Yates/Coleman type intensity but their hardcore type training does set their physiques apart from their contemporaries , Dorian's extreme density is a result of his type of training , Ronnie's outstanding size is a result of his , and notice both of these men beat everyone else .

Again you couldn't be any more wrong  ;) I was routing for Flex in 93 and ironically like Milos said on PBW that the sport would have been better of if Flex won in 93 and I've said that all along . anyway again you're making the claim you provide the proof  the burden lies on you.

what do you mean by better if flex won. i hope we are not talking about the acceptance of the general public cuz that aint gonna happen and it dont matter if it is heath that wins the o or any other "aesthetic" (like any juicer in swim trunks dieted down is going to be aesthetic) bb'er. not ripping heath he looks great. the winner is the most heavily muscled, best conditioned man on stage. how "good" they look really has nothing to do with it.

It would be better because there wouldn't be any guts and bodybuilder would be more complete . I'm not under the delusion that bodybuilding will ever be as big as baseball but it could be bigger . the winners of late have been the biggest & best conditioned , leaving balance & proportion & aesthetics to fall by the wayside , I understand that sport of today is willing to overlook the forementioned because we're pushing the boundries of size & conditioning , but remember long before guys were 300lbs onstage , physiques were more complete and aesthetic , quality should supercede quantity .

has he altered his training style, i.e. 1 working set only or 3 sets at lighter weights etc?
