A serious question :
« on: December 26, 2005, 09:45:00 AM »
Just looking back over the last 2 years,  it seems that many of the Pro's who turned Pro in the 1993 -  2000 era have paid a price.

Demayo = life
Matarrazzo  = health
Mike Francois = health
Flex Wheeler = health
Don Long = health
Munzer = life
Momo = life
Don Younglbood = life
Tom Prince = health

A serious question  :
The fact that here recently very few retire from Pro Bodybuiding with out paying a price .....  such as time in prison,  health, or one's life .
What is the price you are willing to pay for a trophy ?

2.50$ at the trophy place.

I can be first place as many times as I want and I don`t ever have to diet.

What's really funny is that these idiots think they have such "superior genetics". hahahahahahahaha! If your genetics were so superior, you wouldn't have to stick a needle in your ass every day. If your genetics were so great, then you wouldn't lose 50 lb of muscle after coming off the sauce.
hahahahahahahahahahahaha

good point and examples... but how many pros are on the edge of dying or having a major health issue... they are ticking time bombs...

i suspect the pros will say their persuit has nothing to do with a 5 dollar trophy then reaching their "goals"...

Ronnie's genetics are unbelievable.  Think about it like this: he DESTROYS everyone on the sauce, so why couldn't he destroy everyone off the sauce?  He makes big men look small:

http://forum.bodybuildingpro.com/showthread.php?t=722&page=5&pp=10

Everyone is doing everything in sight in the pros, and yet Ronnie still bigger than everyone.  It's not like he's just doing more, because at that level, everyone is doing a lot.

Some pros, like Tom Prince or Kevin Levrone, are obvious hyper responders to juice and would probably be very average as naturals, but Ronnie I think would make an outstanding natural.

Remember, Ronnie was world-class before he even took drugs.

Coleman turned pro not by winning the USA or the Nationals, but by winning the Heavyweight class at the drug-tested 1991 IFBB World Amateur Championships.

I'm sure people will say bullshit, he wasn't clean back then, but I do believe he was.  So yeah, he's a freak and a mutant.  Nobody else can touch him right now.

He's be 215 vs. about 255-260 if you're going to compare them in peak shape.

The bottom line is the steroids arent a miracle drug, and sometimes they work and sometimes they dont

Bottom line only a certain percentage of juicers get huge gains.

You're comparing apples & oranges. Peak shape for Ron's about 260-he's won at higher weights, but no one thinks those are his ideal or best weights, if you haven't noticed.

I'll bet my life he's had a number side effects that you haven't heard as a result of his useage, maybe not life threatning...yet...but you can bet he's cut his lifespan way down!

Good Point about the year but bad correlation....

Let's look at some of the Senior guys that have come back this year...

Strydom
Vince Taylor
Jocelyn Pelletier

Of course most people think the are invinceable, including bodybuilders.

I have a close personal friend who is a Professional Bodybuilder, sometimes he pisses blood, complains of kidney pains, high BP but yet continues to use just for the big payoff...
