the chuck vs. silva fight...my thoughts on it

chuck won't beat babalu...politics will win this fight....everyone wants to see chuck fight wandi...dana brought wandi in for ufc 61 to hype it up....and the reaction he got he's gonna want to capitalize on..

remember this thread when this shit goes down..i'm starting to wonder if politics and even more play more of a role in the ufc than once thought.

i see Chuck knocking him out. Babalu will want to get revenge and may eventually lose composure, Chuck will capitalize on that and put him to sleep. Babalu is on a roll these days, i think hes 10-0 since losing to Chuck

Chuck is a cool fighter but Silva OMG he is a machine! Chuck also gets slow runs out of gas and dosent use his cut kicks to the leg enough. Silva Has one big unending brutal offence.
If it came to a decision polatics would definitly come into play but I'm shure it will be a KO!

Chuck's style hasn't evolved at all, he is just slightly better at it.

Also how is the cage going to help Chuck?  All he does is use the cage to stand back up, do you honestly think Wandy is going to take him down?  I can see chuck trying to take wandy down, but if arona couldn't sub or gnp Silva Lidell most certainly wont.  That being said..

i agree, the whole organisation - from Dana White down - has dismissed his chances and looked right passed him. He knew fine that Silva was coming for 1 fight only and to build Babalu up and push him out the way like that is worth a fucking crack in the chops

Either way hes a Pride fighter plain and smiple. It doesnt matter how many fights he is officially signed for, babalu is the number 1 contender for the title and they have completely overlooked him as a formality. Now personally i think that fight IS a formality for Chuck, but the Organization should NEVER have done that to him

Babalu is a tough mofo and will present a challenge to Chack.  I still see Chack winning.  In the UFC, the rules prohibit some of Wandy's best techniques.  Also, Chack uses the cage better than anyone.  This could be a great fight.  In Pride, Wandy by head stomp.  In the UFC, it could be anyone's game.
