Tom needs your help.
« on: August 22, 2006, 06:16:49 PM »
Greetings-

This may be bad protocol, but I'm going to ask; does anyone have a referral or source for injectable cortisone? I have a ruptured disc (the pain is 7-8 out of 10) and I am paying through the yingyang for doctors visits and a simple injection, every 8-10 days. Any help will be appreciated $$$. pm me in confidence, with any information.

Thank you very much.

do the shots help? and if so where are you shooting it? do you shoot it at the site of the pain? I had a bro get a cortisone shot in the shoulder and he said it did jacksht.

Hi WW-

I'm getting the shots with a 26g 3/4" needle in the lower rhomboids, exactly where the pain is the worst. They are helping and I think with a 8-10 week protocol, I may be able to avoid surgery. I am able to find oral cortisone pretty easy, but for some reason I can't find injectable from any on-line pharmacy.

You won't be able to buy the injectable version anywhere in the US.
