Here is my point of view of Chris for what it is worth , I have competed with Chris in 4 shows and every time he has been encouraging and as friendly as any could be , he has gone out of his way to say hi to me and my family , and even got me and a whole lot of others pissed(drunk) one night at his own expense, he has commented positively more than once on my conditioning and changes in my physique back stage and even went on to state at one show to the crowd that my routine was the best he had seen and was what bodybuilding routines were all about , I have seen him back stage helping guys out with there tans and even though he is classed as one of the top guys in the sport he was always very humble and even once back stage whilst pumping up he asked me if I thought he looked alright !!?? I have wittnessed Chris talking to the rookies at shows whilst on stage and offering words of encouragement and he once told me and a couple of the other guys in our first show to just relax and not to over pose or pump as we would be out there for a long time and the hot lights will pump you up but also wear you down real quick !!
He always stopped for fans and went out of his way to do photo,s and promos for the shows (free) and once in a athletes meeting we were talking about the judging about the big belly's and over sized blocky monsters , and Chris said to Wayne Demillia , "if you wanna make a stand against this type of thing put Marc (me) first as his symmetry and conditioning is what this should be all about , I naturally fully agreed with this suggestion.
In one show me and Chris both won a $4000-00 Tag Heure watch each and Chris gave me the choice of which style I wanted to have before his own personal choice !!
So it would be a sad day Chris is no longer competting as he is a gentleman and as supportive to his fellow athletes as one could be , forget his meltdown over being beating by LEE we are all allowed or OFF MOMENTS , his good points (as I know them) far out way his bad !!
