I think most of us already regarded DHEA as a "dead end" based on available research.  This study seems to only further confirm that:

maybe it doesn't work on older people that well.  doesn't it have a stronger effect on younger women?

Explain to me why this prohormone is still legal; yet androstendione and norandrostendione (and their "-diol" cousins) have been banned, again.

I agree with your sentiment.  There appears to be no consistency in how such decisions are made unless there are behind the scene factors of which we are unaware (e.g., lobbiests hired by manufacturers, etc.).
