True Athlete

BBers are a few levels down compared with an athlete like Mariuz Pudzianowski. This guy looks like a bber but has real strength, functional muscles, agility, good speed and weights 130 kgs, he even knows some kickboxing. Fantastic!

has anybody ever shown how much money these World strongest men  make compared to top 6 Olympia Bodybuilders? Jay Cutler is now making more than probably 3 or 5 WSM put together

I think that if some of the stronger pros like coleman and jackson were to spend some time training specifically training for strongman competitions, they would do just as well as any of the strongmen, if not better.  Im sure coleman would not waste his time doing strongman competitions however, as he would have to take a major paycut.

The prize money is better than for bodybuilding pro contests.

I guarantee you that Savickas makes more money than Cutler.

The sport of strongman is growing all the time. They're regularly broadcasted on sports network, and there is much big appeal than for something like bodybuilding.

i guarantee you he's more flexible than you are. there's a clip of him doing a leg workout and he'll casually stretch out his hamstrings, head against his knees.

Funny you say this about Pudzi.

He's known for his flexibility. I saw him do a full split before a competition once, during warmups.

Also known for his Martial Arts skills.

There are plenty of strongmen who aren't flexible, and you pick the one guy that actually is?

i'd bet most of the wsm guys are pretty flexible. you can't be too tight in order to do some of the events they do, especially the fingal fingers and the atlas stones.

World's Strongest Man and Britian's Strongest Man is shown on BBC1 in the UK each year, usually in the late afternoon, or early evening not some dead time.  I wouldn't be surprised if millions were watching when Geoff Capes and Gary Taylor was winning it. Probably not as popular now but still would get a lot of viewers.
