Actually.. the picture does him no justice... he is about 6'2" and had a huge upperbody.. and alot of upperbody strength.
It used to piss me off because I thought I was strong.. and then he would throw on another plate.. nothing like an ego buster!

Duhhh...does doin' a "bench bump" havin' short little arms, a deep thorax (so that I only have to press/throw the bar a few inches), bouncin' the weight off of my chest, archin' my back/hips a foot off of the bench, and wearin' an Inzer bench shirt count...huh???! I mean I'm usin' up to a full 25% of the muscles in my body!

I think most will post. RB said he was going to, I think about 75% of the people will. For you and me, it's no big deal, everyone knows what we look like already. If people call me small, big fuckin deal, you know I have thick skin. Oh, and you breaking me in half is about as feasible as you fitting your head into a size xxxxxxl baseball cap, not gonna happen

Twice the bodyweight on the bench press was, to me, one of the ultimate personal milestones in strength.  Never did it, came close, but not going to lie.  Kudos to those who can do it, seriously.

I totally agree NJ Slinky. Luckily, I had several excellent coaches & teammates, along with access to any and all pharmaceuticals I could ever want. When I was competing in powerlifting, a 2X bw BP was the barometer of an exceptional bench presser. One of my teammates was very close to hitting 3X bw... at the time that had never been done in competition.

I got real lucky and hit 2X bw in two different weight classes. My goal was to weigh 300 and bp 600 . Never quite did it but the thought was always there.
