Last year the masters had only below and over 80KG category. This year they had below 70kg, below 80kg, below 90kg and over 90kg categories which increases the chance of wining for a lot of the guys.
Melfi needed to be leaner to win but as I mentioned earlier he went in clean to pass the drug test. And there wasn’t any. Next year he will come in full force and get the gold easily.
Jassim repeated the 2004 result by getting the Gold.
