so, I was playing this stupid game that is on my cell phone, and I was thinking, I should really break down and buy a game system for my televison, since I am having fun with it.

I have played Doom and watched, not played, Grand Theft Auto.   What do you think the best system to get is?

PS2 is still very good at a cheap price. The 360 is good too, haven't played the other new ones.

I was kind of leaning toards playstation 2, I wanted to hear what everyone had to say about that choice

If you hurry you can get it right about the time it becomes obsolete.

You might want to wait until the Playstation 3 comes out. Other than that - just play games on the PC - you can get Doom 3 and Grand Theft Auto on that too.
