The actor who will play John Connor in THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES series...

AintItCoolNews reports that Thomas Dekker, who plays the cheerleader's best friend on HEROES, will play the future warrior/savior John Connor in Fox's SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES. Dekker also appeared in STAR TREK: GENERATIONS, STAR TREK: VOYAGER, John Carpenter's VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED, and SEINFELD among many other credits.

Sarah Connor's role went to Lena Headey. The pilot, to be shot early next year, will be directed by good luck charm David Nutter, whose pilot credits include "Roswell," "Supernatural," "Smallville," "Without a Trace" and ABC's upcoming "Traveler."
