UK Championships, and the living legend Stephen Hendry looked like shyte against bore Dave Harold, but escaped.

Against Mark Williams, we saw signs of the Hendry of past greatness, and dare I say it, I believe we will see him cruise to a victory in York this year.

Look for Rocket Ronnie to face defeat from the greatest snooker player ever, and perhaps one of the greatest sportsmen of all time, Mr Century himself, Stephen Hendry.

I predict Hendry to school Ding Junghui later on.

It was almost vintage Hendry that closed the game against fellow Scot Graeme Scott, winning the last three frames.

The man is showing glimpses of his incredible capacity, and Ebdon, at his all-time best and going into the final as the favorite of most, will definitely be up against something formidable.

If Hendry continues to improve, there is no stopping him.

Hendry lost, but finally starts to show signs of getting out of the slump he's been in for the last 3 years.

Reportedly, he's been working on his game like in the past, 5 hours a day the last 3 or 4 weeks.

In a way perhaps it was good that he didn't win. Now he will keep on working that hard. Look for an outstanding Hendry in 2007.

I tell you what I love about snooker, it's all that mental pressure. Your game goes to shit, you're getting your arse kicked and you have to sit there in silence and take it without saying a word. I've smashed cues for missing simple shots lol

Every year I watch the World Championships in the hope that Jimmy White will win it - and he never does. Best player never to have won it and I don't think he ever will - these guys from the 80's and 90's are losing it to a new breed of guys and it's a shame really - I yearn for a return to the glory days of Higgins, White, Davis etc. Good stuff.
