Donkey, don't generalise. I agree w/ you on personal issues. However there are many bros, and on this board also, who do it purely to brake through platue and increase gains. If you look at it only from insecurity point of view, then all who train (natural or not) have insecurity, because why do they start shaping up their body in the first place? Don't like how it looks? Insecurity?

I started lifting in my teens. I admit that at first it was becuse of teenage insecurities and wanting to be mascular and strong for the sake of peer opinion. However, 15 years down the line,  I simply love to train and be hard.  Kinda developed into a habbit now, whereby I actually enjoy the process more than the result.

Everyone loves to group most steroid users together that the majority of them all act and think the same when it isn't the case...The unfortunate thing is that the steroid using community has the uneducated and the abusers in their circles just like society does with any circles and they are the only ones that get the attention for their use...I personally started lifting at age 12 just because I enjoyed furthering my strength(also I idolized Arnold as a young boy) and the by-product that quickly followed was muscle growth which I fell in love with and I never used a cycle of steroids until the age of 21...What brought me to try steroids out was curiosity, availability, education, and I was already being accused of using steroids from jealous punks in the gym...So I went to my guru & doctor and started a cycle...Since then I have done a few cycles, but currently I haven't used any roids in about 8 months...
