I have a buddy who I've tried to help in losing weight. He's about 260 and climbing. Anyways, he's very stubborn. When we go out to eat, I will usually order the lightest thing on the menu, unless it my cheat day. I always get Diet Coke. I tell him he shoould switch to diet as well, but oh no, God forbid he save himself 300 cals per can or whatever. Sometimes he picks a Big Gulp.......never diet soda.
He believes that "you can eat whatever you want, as long as you exercise." Sad thing is, he can't. He has a slow metabolism, and he sure as f**k doesn't excercise anways. He won't listen.
Maybe once he gets to 300 lbs he'll do something about his weight. Or maybe not.
