Bruce, you're smart enough to know that the conspiracies of the 60s (Gulf of Tonken and USS Liberty) were both proven true 40 years later when the documents were declassified.
This doesn't make today's conspiracies true, or untrue, but it sure shows that jumping to conclusions five years after the events (when most documents are still classified) is akin to shooting spunk on your leg before you get the girl's panties down.
