As long as you don't break the weights, Brian is ok with it. Jay, however, takes it too far. He has broken a 160 lb dumbell, from throwing it into the rack. He just isn't as intense as Branch, and tries to make up for it with acts of stupidity.
As for the chains... Branch prefers the chains over his neck, rather than pinching or hitting him in the groin.
As fo rthe partial reps...locking out on the presses causes his front delts to get the brunt of the exercise. Thsu, he stops just short of locking out. It works, because he has about the thickest chest out there, today. Let's see some of your pecs, befor eyou start bashing his training methods. What he does works for him.
I would love to see Branch and Jonnie start training together, again. Have heard that it might be happening soon. Just a rumor as of now. We'll see.
