Deedee, it's just us guys hatin'. If she were to have married and or got impregnated by, let's say Pierce Bronsnan or some other rich squared jawed dude, it wouldn't matter. Just so many of lusted after Salma (that bedroom scene in Desperado--was it really her?), that it is kinda a flaccid let down.

liz taylor has been married what 8 times? not a good example to support your argument

he looks like a typical frenchman? I didn't know they were so ugly, I can't imagine what the "non typical" frenchman look like

Does Salma have to be with the 7-11 cashier guy to make some "point" about her sincerety? Of course she probably wouldn't want to be with this man if he was just some average person. But so what? She doesn't meet them anyway. And why shouldn't her kid have the best? I'll also bet his social standing has just as much, if not more, to do with it than his actual wealth.

I don't think he's ugly. $:-\$ Bet he exudes tons of confidence, probably has a sardonic sense of humor, and looks like he could be kinda passionate to me.

she meets plenty of non famous guys, she just doesn't give them the time of day

Two actors/artists together usually suck. Goes for writers, painters, etc... too much of the same kind of ego. (I'm counting Levrone as an artist.

I'll bet most of the non-famous guys she meets are just like Pinault. The ones she socializes with anyway. A few more or less millions either way.

I agree with the first part. But, you remember what we had agreed on about if a guy is ugly or not. His only shot if ugly is 1.)money 2.)personality 3.)sense of humor.

yes johnny depp and leonardo dicaprrio are so rugged and manly

he's manly in an ugly kind of way

not manly in a russell crowe type of way

take away his money and you wouldn't even notice him

if you saw him staring at you you would think he was creepy

Dicaprio only became hot to women after he starred in a few chick flicks. Before that he looked like anybody's kid brother. Johnny Depp too... starred in quirky, weird romance flicks and suddenly hit stardom.

Maybe it's cause I went to French school and got used to that look. He reminds me of half the guys I knew, except older. He has that shortish, kind of bulldogish look. Were you around for Depp's "21 Jumpstreet" days? He's been a sex symbol of sorts for a long time. Before he made his living off of quirky movies.

If I remember correctly Depp rebelled against the sex symbol typecast and choose many of his movie roles carefully so that his good looks wouldn't be exploited.

lol look at all the haters on this thread... First of all Salma is already rich, so why would she need to get impregnated by some old guy just for the wealth? The guy's the CEO of a big conglomerate of companies which means he's got some brains, maybe that's just what got her? Either that or she probably just got tired of egoist american and hispanic guys and decided to fuck a french guy because he seemed like a breath of fresh air. That's my take on things.

He probably has style and class, can hold an intelligent conversation. He's no pretty boy, but he has a "character" head. And a lot of french guys have a certain way about them, hard to explain. I think once girls go above 25 they become more and more attracted to guys like this.

there are plenty of guys making a modest living with brains

not everybody is obsessed with being rich and powerful and owning multiple houses, cars, and boats

stop looking for reasons for her being attracted to him
