Here's some models I'm considering

This is the Creative Zen V - feels plastic but has most of the stuff you can wish for, and cheap too. screen is probably not good enough to watch anything on... the transfer rate seems slow too.



This is the Iriver x20, havent seen it live, but looks pretty good. think it got inbuilt speakers and really fast transfer so you could watch ronnie coleman while on the subway shout LIGHT WEIGHTS! it suppose to pack the video files very well so 1gig video ends up being 300mb on it...

New Iriver clix 2 probably got the best screen for the moment, im not sure i need a screen though? i dont travel all that much and end up waiting. Maybe I can use it while working on my tan in the sun and see some episodes of entourage on it... but its a beauty and its tempting to buy one...

im not considering ipod so the one in the middle goes away, one on the right is sonys new one, they got battery life like no other i think its 50 hours or so, not sure the screen is good enough need to read up on that... but the problem with sony is you need to use their software if it wasnt for that i probably would buy it right away cause its good quality

Ok now I've checked them out IRL - the Sony one is quite beautiful, much thinner than most of the others. Problem is they have their SoundStage software that isn't that great... hmm.
