to attend Don Ho's funeral on Waikiki Beach as his ashes will be scattered tommorow.

Not going.  I did a few things with Don back in the 90's and we'd say hi to each other when saw each other but thats about it.  He was Hawaii and did allot for the islands.  I don't think his cookie venture ever took off.

I saw Don Ho at lunch a few months back and he was looking great after he recovered from a heart ailment In fact he looked like he was in his early thirties and I didn't recognize him until someone told me that I was talking to Don. I was surprised how great he looked at his new weight.

He replaced Hawaii on the entertainment map back in the 60's and all the way till the end of his careet.
