condemning Paris Hilton on all the news shows now, it's funny how rabid they are, it's only because she's young, thin, hot and rich and does what she wants, get's any guy she wants and they're stuck with their balding husbands and boring minivan driving lives, there is no reason why Paris should have recieved jail time for a first time DWI offense, no one else does why should she? discuss.
I doubt it has to do with jealousy. She's getting what she deserved.
She broke probation
TWICE! The first time she used the excuse she didn't know she was not allowed to drive. She got off with a warning,
AND she signed a document by the officer stating she was now made aware of the fact that she was not permitted to drive. It was found in her glove compartment when she broke her probation the
SECOND time.
When she was caught the 2nd time, she was speeding like a bat out of hell away from the police with her headlights OFF!
I don't know about the judge, but to me that sounds like a woman who knows she's doing wrong, and wanted to get the hell out of there. yes, granted, anyone else driving under suspension could more than likely drive by police without being noticed or raising any red flags, ...however she is Paris Hilton driving a Bentley. It is well known that Paris Hilton's license is suspended, and any cop seeing her drive by would have known it, ...hence the reason for the headlights being off. Just my opinion.
To top it off, ...she showed up in court
FIFTEEN MINUTES LATE, ...and told the judge she hadn't bothered to discuss the terms of her probation with her lawyer because she was "too busy".
GIVE MY ASS A BREAK! Does this sound like a girl who takes this seriously? Or with any respect for the court?
Then she tells the judge she was speeding away from the police because they are always pulling her over in an attempt to get a date??
I can understand about the cops trying to get a date thingy 'cause I had to deal with that crap when I lived in Cali as well, so i know it is rampant down there, ...but PULEAZE!
She should just take the punishment like a woman. the fact that she's making such a stink out of it is only going to ensure she serves the FULL time, and not the 2 hours that Rodriguez was able to get away with.
She's luckier than most. With her money she should be able to buy herself some protection for the small period of time that she's there. Do the time... then parlay it into a video "Paris behind bars"... or the "The Simple Life just got a whole lot more Complicated". She can come away with a brand new homemade prison tat... Make her money, get the publicity she cravenly feeds off, then hopefully stfu and go away, ...but I doubt there's much chance of that happening.
Besides... maybe Lindsay Lohan will send her a cake with a file in it... ya never know.
