low carb diet question

I like doing a very low carb diet when cutting. My question is do i need to have a high carb day in there somewhere to "boost" the metabolism so to speak or can i just keep going low carbs all the way through. the reason i ask is when i put a high carb day in there thats when the diet gets thrown of track the day after. i realise that its gonna benefit me doing so but even if the fat loss slows down gradually from keeping on the same meal plan all the way through im willing to make that sacrifice, i mean its better than fucking the diet up completely. anyways what are some thoughts on my situation.

go high protien moderate fat and really low carb for 6 days. u should reach ketosis after the third day and your blood sugars will level off and you will not crave carbs or be starving. on the seventh day eat the same until your last meal of the day then have a cheat meal. not a cheat day but just a meal. this will work great. if you are low on energy then increase fats if you a slow on recovery then up the protien. good idea to take bcaa and creatine during this to help minimize your catabolism. throw in eca if you want for the added boost. should lose 2 to 3 pounds a week on this after the initial week. you will lose alot of water and glycogen the first few days so expect your weight to drop probly 6 - 10 pounds that week. drink tons of water and work each body part once a week with some mild cardio and your good to go.

Yes, a high carb day every 5-7 days is good.

Just eat plenty of carbs, low protein and NO fat on that day.

Try to avoid fructose and normal sugar, take maltose, dextrsoe and complex carbs as much as you can.

So when you say cheat day yet you're not allowed simple sugars or fat what does that leave?  A ton of rice and potatoes?  Doesnt sound particularly exciting.  Guess the pizza, burger king and ice cream are out then?

It's not a cheat day, it's a high carb day.

And yes, it leaves a ton of pasta with vegetable sauce or a little seafood or tuna, a lot of rice and a lot of sweet water. Feel free to add any flavor with effervescent tablets.

It's not exciting, it should boost your metabolism, that's all.

No.

A cheat day serves no purpose.

Your supposed to load up the glycogen during the high carb day, so stay very low on fats and low on protein.

Don't train either.

Most people who do low carb diets fcuks up this part, by eating whatever, and going high on everything, which means they will go high on fat on the carb up day.

The point isn't to "shock" the metabolism. It's to fill up the glycogen storage.

Start up with very fast carbs, and progressively during the day, eat slower and slower carbs.

Also drink 3 grams of water for every 1 gram of carb.

I would definitely recommend the Ultimate Diet 2.0 for anyone considering doing low-carbing diet.

Agreed, yet i think that for the mental side, you need a cheat MEAL now and then, but never a cheat day.

Not sure at what carb rate you're keeping your carbs at when you say "low carb" day. Figure that out first, the amount of carbs you take in to see if its the same throughout the days.

That being said, try the low-medium-high carb cycle. For maximum muscle gain, it works awesome in giving your body a shock from adapting to a certain way of eating.

I like to just stay low carbs for the whole diet between 40g-80g a day.  No playing around, I have not tried this with out hormone enhancement and clenbuterol.  I have found this works very well and there is no slowing of the metabolism.  Ripped in no time, must plan the diet right so you are not ready way ahead of sched.
