Why is Bob Chick friends with Kamali?

Bob is a good looking well spoken guy with everything going for him even physique wise Chicherillo blows him away.  Why would he be friends with that clown?  Everytime they interview him he sounds low class and all he does is talk nonsense about Shawn Ray.

especially after king stole the 99 nationals from bob...King looked great that year, but common, bob was 10 times better then shari...this guy gets away with so much bullshit its a shame

Apart from that ridiculous fiasco where he was threatening to sue 240, when he was saying that he will be more successful than Shawn Ray I literally felt embarrassed for him. There is no way he could even qualify for the O as many times as Shawn, let alone place top 5. In person though, he is a cool guy.

I have to say, King did not come across well in interviews. He did qualify last year but why didn't he compete again?

Exactly.  Some people don't always do well conducting themselves in public - but they learn.  Eventually. 

And the way they are personally often is completely different.
