I wrote a treatment for a TV Series called Rental Car.  It was based on my experiences.  Back in the 90's I figured I rented a car for about three months out of the year.  Whenever I went to LA I had to rent a car.  My friend and me had some funny as hell times.  The premises of the story was renting cars and then taking parts off them for your own car or selling them.  Such as tires, exhaust, engine parts, electric window motors, etc.

They never would find out.  At least I never heard anything.  My friend had a Mustang so I would rent Mustangs most of the time.  Great way to keep your car running good.  I suggest it to everyone.
