No conspiracy..........US military's standard operating procedure is to immediately scramble fighter jets to ANY aircraft that is OFF COURSE. This is done to prevent an off course aircraft from striking a POPULATED area.

Why did this not happen with commercial jets on 9-11 ?

Since when...we used to have guys ready...but the ready aircraft were atleast 30 min from generation on 911. Its easier when this kinda stuff happens away from the East Coast..a hell of alot more AF bases with Tac aircraft ready to deal with this kinda stuff.

Yeah well i did to unitl i read an article today that has some of the Bush team going over to help the campaign..thats ok if they aren't the neo/evengelical end. I have faith that Fred wouldn't want them anywhere near him. Cross your fingers. I think we havea chance if we can get a centerist or even a true con to run.
