There were 6 of us on that stage in the morning show (honestly). I don't know where the girl went in the end as she was not there at the night show. And yes I took 5th of 5 in my class. You seem to think that bothers me, but it doesn't. I didn't expect anything, it was my first show and I'm a 43 year old going against girls 1/2 my age who are looking to go pro. I think I held my own and your negative opinions/comments really don't matter Livewire. I enjoyed myself and I'm going to do it again. If I come in last, I come in last. I try again next time.
You have hit on what I think is one of the biggest problems in bodybuilding/figure/fitness. It is the infamous wealth of naysayers that always say; " If you didn't win, why get on stage" Imagine a show where only the winners were on stage

, be over pretty fast and not much drama. What in hell is wrong with doing your PERSONAL best and useing the show for YOUR own means to be better. Aaaaaahhhhh, but you see, those that always crack on others who don't win, don't compete and think shows are all about their entertainment . Plus, if they can put down those who try, they can feel better for never getting up there themselves.
THe really odd thing is that the biggest naysayers almost never even ATTEND actual contests. Unless someone acts really dumb or silly on stage most of us that have been in shows or go to them, will applaud any serious guy or gal for doing their best.
I asked a kinda lame thread about how can anyone meet anyone at shows or events when most here post under a fake identity. Most did admit they have no intention of meeting anyone at shows or events...ever.
Hmmm, that being said, I would think it best to IGNORE most of the negative, annonymous crap as they really don't even EXIST when it comes to actual events . I guess when your whole BB world is just these forums you have a bit of a twisted view of the actual sport and those in it.
Howard * good luck to you and big Mike at the show.
