Maybe lifting at home is a mistake. I miss out on all this shit! I own myself in the squat rack twice a week tho.
I did go to a "Fitness First" awhile back to try out a power rack before buying one. The trainer who came out was straight out of a GetBig thread. I got to listen to an ILS driven skinnyfat sales pitch, featuring swiss balls 'n all, before I found out... they don't have a power rack. And I swear to God, at one point this monster said "I don't want to get too big." That's a quote word for word. I was trying to keep a straight face the whole time but I just couldn't manage it.
i've heard the dumbest shit of my life workin at a supplement shop...
1) do you have the protein that's good for building in the chest and arms area?
2) i would compete, but i'd wait until the caliber of guys gets a little better, it seems to be too easy now, i'd take them all (while he walked away with his 20$ budget protein which he tried to bargain down, and his forearm-sized quads roared through the door) lol
3) but i heard creatine is like steroids...i dont wanna take that, i'd rather be natural. least help as possible....
*then guy walks out with protein, weight gainer, arginine, tribulus, and god knows what else.
and the list goes on....
