The real fight of the night was Jorge Gurgel's fight. I also wanted to see Edgar/Bocek. Herring gave Nog too much respect when he had him hurt (more like ko'ed) and it cost him the fight. Tito/Rashad- the only thing that surprised me was how tired Tito looked in the middle of the third, he only comes in like that if he's hurt, but he claimed to be healthy so maybe he's just getting lazy, or old. Other than that I expected the standard cautiousness, lay n pray , stand n pray that comes with a Tito fight. Sherk shut Franca's ass down almost all 25 minutes, with the exception of those two knees. It may not have been the most exciting fight to some, but I appreciated the technical aspect of it, Sherk's wrestling, and sub defense were on like shit. Florian is still overrated. Silva/Marquardt- I was rooting for the underdog in this one, and he appeared to be doing well at first. His boxing was pretty good and he even landed a few good shots on Silva,in addition to scoring a takedown, but in the end he got caught by one of those precise lasers that Silva calls punches. Mach Sakurai was in the house, I wouldn't mind seeing him pimp slap Ken-Blo a few times. Overall, for having so many big names the card didn't really seem to live up to the hype, and I look forward to the next one.
