need help losing weight for powerlifting girl
« on: September 06, 2007, 10:46:43 AM »
Hi guys,

I need help for a newbie bench press girl;training 1 year, needs to drop 7 pounds in 2 weeks for competition(I know, she´s late);diet and cardio is okay;I wonder if some of you guys know some last minute tricks-having always competed as a heavyweight bodybuilder weightmaking was never an issue for me,so I got little experience.
Any advice on steroids(right now she´s on 10mg Tren A ed),fatburners, diuretics or natural supplements would be greatly apreciated!

PS:I know there are no secure last minute tricks, but maybe you know something that i don´t know!Thx!
PSS:what´s the best way to regain your strength after the weigh-in?There are no tests!

How big is she?  7 lbs can be dropped to 5 lbs over the next two weeks and 5 lbs can be just water weight.   Whens the weigh in for the contest?  Shedding 5 lbs of water isn't that hard.

Go buy some ginger/Yuka root. slice it up like a tomato and place the slices in a sock. run the bathtub burning hot with the sock in there. sit in there for as long as you can stand up to 1 hour minimum, when the water cools, add more hot water. and i mean HOT. during that day do not drink any water and only eat veggies. she should sweat out at least 5-10 pounds. do this a few hours before the weigh in. after the weigh in chug some pedilite with gatorade and stuff yourself with high calories and carbs. then get a good nights rest.

you will feel horrible up until the weigh in, but once you replace the fluids you will feel fine.

good luck, this is a natural diuretic process used by myself and many other powerlifters. if you have access to diuretics i would use those if she won't get tested for them.

this works best if the weigh in is the day BEFORE the meet. if the weigh in is right before the meet she will lose some strength and i'd suggest a different route like diet control and limit water and sodium intake the last 2 days before the meet. NEVER cut sodium too soon, your body will fight to keep the water, only cut the sodium 24 hours before the meet.

7 pounds in 2 weeks is very easy to lose with diet and cardio. so only do what i have mentioned as a last resort.
