Ronnie the Irreplaceable
« on: September 17, 2007, 08:55:09 AM »
Hey Guys! I was going through the pictures of Jay and Ronnie a couple of weeks out of the Olympia, realistically speaking I think Jay would do it again -- he improved in size and condition couple weeks out - however, in my opinion he will only win because Ronnie is declining if we were to compare his pictures to Ronnie from 1999 - 2005 I dont think he can be compared or can score better in any of the rounds.

But its bitter to see Ronnie walk out with a loss, I think Ronnie set a new record and I dont see any of those guys around the block who will be replacing him soon.

What kills me is the amount of Jay Cutler bandwagon jumpers. I want to see what happens if Ronnie does win. And he has a track record of coming back looking stronger and better than ever when he lost.
Bottom line:
Ronnie Coleman = 8 Sandows
Jay Cutler = 1
It took him 6 years of placing 2nd to finally catch up to a 44 year old Ronnie.  ::)

I've always liked Jay. Massive bb who lives the sport. However, Ronnie is not human when he is on and a 100% Jay could never beat a 100% Coleman.

I'm tired of hearing about these two, we already know who the first and second place is, it's been pre-determined for along time. Pick someone else to talk about.........this is old!

I don't see why people have to bash Jay to praise Ronnie and vice versa

Ronnie was great, he is older now and not at his best

Jay has youth on his side and has paid his dues and played the size game.

I wish them both well.
Here comes the money shot

While this is all technically true, one should point out that Cutler won his first Olympia at about the same age that Ronnie won his first. Ronnie "chased" Dorian, and never actually did beat him. Give Jay credit, he beat the champ.

I would love to see Victor actually come in shredded to the bone and snatch it from both of them.

Highly unlikely he can ever get shredded but face it, if Vic ever got his shit together he could take "the fridge" out any day of the week.

More like he caught up to the "aging" champ. And it took him 6 years a lat and triceps tare and a prayer from God to get him his first Sandow. Not that i'm a huge Ronnie fan but if the tables were reversed, people would be saying the same thing about Jay.
