Actually, in an interview with Arnold some time back I think last year, Arnold himself said he believed the sport was progressing. I am not saying I necessarily agree, but to answer your question as to whether or not people who pioneered bodybuilding were proud of what it had become, well the answer is yes if that interview is to be taken seriously.

What a rediculous statment. Even if he did take them, I quite sure obviously wasn't the amount these guys are taking today. There's a difference between what he MIGHT have done as opposed to the abuse thats going today. Back then and even in the 60's and 70's anymore than 1cc of Deca per week and 4 Dbol's per day was considered enough, anymore than that was considerd alot!

Reg Park did take steroids maybe very small amounts compared to Modern day juicers but please Getbiggers do not be naive ,he certainly looked much bigger in the early 70s than he did in the 50s
