I've been testing, so far they ban some really stupid things.  The USGS is banned, a website on Rembrandt, the whitehouse website.  Check this out, a person in China can't even go to www.1800flowers.com and have flowers sent to someone in America...  Lookie like someone interested sucking us dry but no givie backie shitty chink chink....

Cheers, this is amazing. My commercial entity is blocked, and so is my personal site.

I can understand the commercial one being blocked because it's a news site with content that might be deemed critical of the Chinese government. But the personal site has nothing of that nature.

However:
Both are searchable in Baidu search and my statistics show there has been 10802 unique requests from China on the commercial site this month.

How accurate is that site?

maybe it's not accurate or maybe it's not blocked on certain levels ???  I don't really know.

A lot of sites here in china are blocked, some take several goes to get into.  I'm very careful about some of the sites I visit in relation to polictical terms.

  The government is anti pron sites at the moment and blame internet porn for the rise in teenage pregancy.  Wiht a legal age of consent at 14 and considering ost parents don't soend much time with their teenage kids, I don't think it has anything to do with net porn.

I have friends who have problems logging on to net banking from here in China also.  It is strang some of the things that get blocked.

Getbig still hasn't ( Yet  touch wood)

Sitting in Suzhou china writing this now.  Never had a problem getting onto Getbig.  Hotmail is a different story.  Some days it's blocked some days not.
