Movies I watched this week

Glory Road- about the first all black starting lineup to win the NCAA basketball championship. Pretty good movie, not nearly as good as Remember the Titans, but not bad. B-


Superbad- Funny movie. You should all see it. B+



Gridiron Gang- It was ok. The Rock is a pretty good actor imo, it was "watchable". C-



The Texas Chainsaw Massacre- The Beginning- I love Jordana Brewster, so I watch anything with her in it. It was more violent than I expected. Horrible ending. Slightly entertaining.  C

B+ is a very good movie. A's and A+'s are for classics, like Forrest Gump and Rocky.

I wouldn't give it an A, but definitely an A- . . . it's not too far from forrest gump or rocky IMO.  Definitely not in the Unforgiven territory though.

superbad might not become the cultural phenomena that those two movies were, and it's definitely not up w Forrest Gump in terms of the production value/cinematography, but in terms of being "american," it's up there.  i'd put it on par w rocky . . . one's a great american story of rags to riches, the other's a great american story of trying to get laid.

Nice slaughter fest. Very entertaining.

unbelievable fight scenes.
good plot.
some questionable aspects to the script.
matt damon did a good job though.

didnt really hold my attention.
a few extremely funny scenes..the rest was mildy funny.

Ive finally seen the Departed.
big thumbs up,Ive watched it twice in the last two days
