In fact, she was quite openly enamored w it.  She also slept w Patton, and claimed that MacArthur's wife told her that Mac was not a Big Mac. 

about rubirosa, he married another american heiress (can't remember her name), who paid him $3.5 million (this was in the 40s or 50s) for a marriage that lasted 50 days or so. 

so paris hilton & the OJ lawyer's daughter are just following in the great American tradition . . .

She also inherited over $100 million in the late 20's when her dad died or something like that.  Her dad was a tobacco tycoon.  She was a member at Gold's Gym in Honolulu when I was the marketing director there in 90 and 91.  She had a trainer and would be on the phone the whole time she was there.  She would hardly look at anyone and was very much into talking on the phone.   She did say hi to me once though. Too bad she didn't leave me any money.
