I don't claim to be this that without backing it up.. Looks to be the same with you.

I say what I can IRL, granted it doesn't put me in a bad situation or get me in trouble. Maybe Nord is like that? Or maybe he's a keyboard warrior like so many here?

You speak of God.

How do you know there is a God?
How do you know there isn't?

We know that there is a God, because there are writtings that have endured incredible odds, for nearly 6ooo years. There are over 1 million words in the bible without one single error.  The Biblical authors are also responsible for a fraction of the earth's population (example:  King Solomon) in their times.  They are also commonly associated with tremendous amounts of adversary in their lives and lived among the cruelest, darkest times the earth has ever seen.  Hardly the grade four student that is capable of making up such a fairy tail.  Furthemore, if you read from Genesis to Revelations from a neutral position, you will find the evidence overwhelming and much of it's history consistant with some of the major events that  have occurred in this world; examples:  Babylonian Exile, Persian Rule, Greek followed by Roman days to name a few.  If you choose not to believe anyone that has been associated with the formation of the Bible then at least be wise enough to know that these people have absolutely nothing to gain by writting a lie that is going to be read 50 generations after they're dead.

A person cannot become 800+ years old.

Several characters in the Old Testament reaches extreme age. That's not possible. We know today that the human body cannot live for several hundred years.

There is no evidence of Noah's Arc, or The Flood.

All these writings don't matter however. Because writings from other cultures have survived

And you claim that the Bible has writtings in it that has survived for nearly 6000 years.

Even Biblic scholars claim that the Bible is cerca 3000 years old, and yet you claim it is some 6000 years old. What source do you have on that?

Clue: Did anyone write back then? ::)

And honestly, if you've been told by your minister that there is 6000 year old stuff in the Bible, I'd like to know.

We got to fight the ignorance together you know. 8)

Cool, now we're getting somewhere...

I can only teach of my knowledge of God based on my own personal testimony and my relationship with Him.

lets start with the 6000 year issue. If you calculate the time lineage between Adam, Seth,... Lame ch, Noah,... Abraham, Isaac, Jacob,... King David, Solomon,... All the way to Jesus. It runs through 4000 years and Jesus lived 2000 years ago. Your atheist biblical Scholars can confirm that.

Now the old age issue. you said people cant live that long TODAY; key word TODAY. You know that the world was extremely different pre flood. There was alot more oxygen in our atmosphere that allowed them to live that long.( I will be more then happy to go into detail about this subject if you want) There are an astonishing amounts of human remains found in this century of people over 12 feet tall(national geographic has written plenty of articles of these types of archaeological find.  I believe the tallest bone stricture found is in the 13 tto 14 foot range. My point being is that the tallest human on this planet since the birth of America is a measly 8 foot and change. this is a perfect example of something that occurred in the past but cant happen again ever.

The flood did occur by the way and there is more evedance then your silly big bang theory.

Wow your very educated on this subject. Good for you, However I did not make a mistake, and i totally agree with your numbers. If you look at my first paregraph in my first post i did not say the bible authors are 6000 years old I said "writings".  These writings Im refering to are not in the bible but they are writings that Moses had to have copied in order to make the book of Genesis. Some People that have studied about the teachings in the first 5 books think there were probably 10 or so original writters.
