I've done a few bulk and cut cycles and I am actually very good at sticking to my diet. It usually mainly consists of chicken, tuna, brown rice, oatmeal, protein shakes, and healthy fats. However I always notice towards the end my muscles deflate and I can't get really lean without looking flat. So this time around I started to loosen my diet up a bit adding things like white rice, red meat, and even Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches (first thing in the morning) and it seems like I am doing pretty well losing fat and my muscles still have pretty good fullness. It seems for me the ultra-strict bodybuilding diet doesn't work that well for me (sorry too lazy to post my entire diet right now

) My question is has anybody else noticed better results cutting by loosening up their diets?
