Does he not believe in retirement?

If he wants to continue lifting, and even diet down periodically into his golden years I think that's great, but why he has the desire to put on posing trunks, slather himself with protan, and step onto a pro stage looking like he does is beyond me.  If he really wanted to compete he could do the master's class in a local show, but even then I can't understand why he'd want to.  He has to know he's making a joke of hismelf every time he does this.

His physique was fine for the 70's.  I don't think people are complaining about the fact he was given a pro card back then, they're complaining that he's still using it 30+ years later!

Not only that, but he makes a joke of the entire show. It's billed as a professional bodybuidling contest for which people are paying good money to see. That Pelletier is allowed to compete implies that his physique is professional level.

Now, in 2007, at 59, he doesn't look so good.

Looking at these recent pics of Jocy, I have to say i think he is being selfish, indulgent and disrespectfull. People did not pay good money, and athletes did not kill themselves in the gym all year, so this guy can go on stage and indulge himself in his distorted fantasy that he is still a big strong muscle man. I think he is taking up time and money and selfishly forcing us to be a part of the fantasy world that he lives in without any regard to anyone but himself.

I think his psychological need to be percieved as a muscle man is affecting the quality of the contests in a negative way and I think he should be kindly asked to stop applying.
